A collaboration between KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd and the Lentos Art Museum Linz Education Department

In the project “It’s rumbling in the box,” we invite you to engage your imagination: Together, we will invent biographies of artists and allow these imaginary figures to speak about “their lives” through drawings, paintings, objects, and collages.

The inspiration comes from the exhibition “Friedl Dicker-Brandeis” and “Ida Maly” (catalog) as well as the practical symposium “Learning from Friedl Dicker-Brandeis.” Empathy, Art, Vulnerability” will take place from May 10 to 14, 2022, at the Lentos Art Museum. The workshop series, including a pop-up exhibition, will be led and facilitated by KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd and the Lentos Art Education Department.

More information and the dates for the multi-part workshop series and the pop-up exhibition will be announced at the project launch on April 30, 2022.
