Which artists have moved me? And why? Which artistic works do I see, hear and read? How do the works of artists influence my life?

With this question in mind, we interviewed a wide variety of people, asked them to stand in front of the camera and tried to gather their experiences. From a targeted selection of people connected with KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd, whether as participants, artists, colleagues or companions, a collection of discoveries and insights, personal memories and social reflections on “being in relationship” to artists and artistic works has emerged.

The short videos and texts were presented in the showroom and will be accessible via the social media channels of KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd. The longer-term plan is to build up an archive on “artists moving”, in which the debate for an expanded understanding of art and an expanded experience of art in everyday life and the debate about art are carried forward.

The interview/video series on “Artists move?!” will be continued in October 2021.
