Artistic design of the rooms of standUp Wels

“In Opposite” is the title of the designs displayed on the walls of the entrance areas, group rooms, and social spaces at standUp Wels. The individual elements are interconnected. This “oppositeness” is directly linked to standUp’s mission in counseling settings, for clients, and among colleagues. It suggests that new things and relationships emerge in this encounter, where humor and seriousness, the abstract and the concrete, connect.

In a methodically guided, creative-artistic setting, the attitudes, themes, desires, and systems of order of standUp Wels employees were collected, gathered, developed, and discussed. These served as the starting point for the design development and were translated into the forms, materials, colors, and placement of the design elements. Most of these were realized in collaboration with the HandwerkDesign collective of KunstRaum.
