Wednesdays: August 14, 21, and 28, 2024
Perspectives on meaning and expectations for the four new cat sculptures.
Three sessions in the Cat Workshop will explore the formal development and mimetic aspects of creating four cat types.
Together with the artist Elisabeth Kramer, sculptural techniques and questions will be discussed, and the animal models will be conceived.
Elisabeth Kramer (born 1980 in Burghausen, Germany) is a sculptor, conceptual artist, and animal lover based in Linz and Peuerbach. She studied sculpture and cultural studies in Linz and Dresden. In her sculptures, prints, and installations, she explores, among other things, the intersections of societal systems of rules and the associated norms and stereotypes.
