They saddled their horses and rode off in all directions: THOMAS KLUCKNER / one two three – bye bye
In his installations and objects, Thomas Kluckner explores the perception of new media in everyday situations and the resulting questions of authenticity, reality, and construction. The transitions and fault lines of our perception are central to his investigation.
Thomas Kluckner, born in 1977 in Hall in Tirol, lives and works in Linz.
He studied Fine Arts/Experimental Design and Sculpture in Transmedial Space at the University of Art and Design Linz and at the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki (Finland). Since 2017, he has been a member of the artists’ association Maerz.
A series of artworks on the annual theme of KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd 2020, “THEY SADDLED THE HORSES AND RIDED OFF IN ALL DIRECTIONS,” was presented from September to November 2020 with: ALICE MÖSCHL, REINHARD WINKLER, and THOMAS KLUCKNER.
