Sound snack vulgo improvisation in the collective
The Klangjausn, a “classic” of the mediation offers of the KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd, is a cooperation with the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität OÖ. Initiated by Franz X Ruhmaneder and directed by Christoph Cech, supported by Eike Hänsel, this offer takes place weekly (Tuesday, 14.30 – 16-00) in the KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd.
The inclusion of extra-musical parameters such as speech-gesture-space-movement in the process of improvisation for people with psychosocial impairments and music .students favors the experience, even as a layman, to achieve artistic quality in a cultural environment strongly associated with professionalism.
Klangjause was born out of a life crisis: Franz X Ruhmseder in an interview on the occasion of 10 years of Klangjause.

KunstRaumJam – “Holler” and 10 years of Klangjausn!
Such a Holler !” – Jazz blossoms, it’s called improvisation. When musicians meet in front of an audience to “blossom”, it’s a jam session. Drums and bass are the bread on which the butter chords of keyboard and guitar are laid. On top of that comes the sometimes bittersweet jam, the jam, the horns.
Holler” marks the beginning of a new jam session in Linz, with KunstRaum providing the art space and the JIM Institute for Jazz and Improvised Music at Bruckner University providing the musicians. More jams are to follow, inspired by what is currently blossoming, growing, and allowing itself to be marbled into wonderful music.
The collaboration between KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd and the Institute JIM for Jazz and Improvised Music of the Bruckneruni started in 2013 with Improvisation in the Collective vulgo Klangjausn. Initiated by Franz X. Ruhmanseder, this involves a musical encounter between participants of pro mente OÖ and students of Bruckner University under the direction of Christoph Cech, supported by Eike Hänsel. On the occasion of the fifth anniversary, we invite you to a Klangjausn from 14.30, which will conclude this day with an KunstRaumJam- Holler.
