A series of photographic portraits depicts people taking a leap.
“JUMP! Moving within the Image” explores the interplay of diverse forces and contrasts that are essential for an inclusive and open society. Specifically, it examines the forces available to individuals and the forces that are present for everyone to perform the same movement—the leap. Forces such as gravity, physical strength, the power of a forming group, and the power of staging all come together here.
More than fifty colleagues, participants, and associates of KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd, pro mente Upper Austria, have taken their own individual leap.
The series of photographs was presented on March 30th in the stairwells and event hall of the Ursulinenhof Cultural Center as part of the conference.
