Artist talk “Images we can make now”
Before the summer break, immerse yourself once more in the many stories that emerged from the project “Images We Can Create Now”!
The exhibition is open on July 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This day also offers the opportunity to connect with project participants.
What can happen when you take words and images and create something of your own? A multitude of stories emerge, a variety of perspectives unfold, and a unique form of collaboration reveals its results.
The exhibition also aims to inspire and encourage those interested to participate in the next KunstRaum project.
“The materials and instructions define the scope. A tactile and visual delight. I am amazed to discover themes that lie dormant within me and have worked their way to the surface through the act of creation. Words, placed in an unconventional way, gain meaning.”

“What surprised me was that something so beautiful emerged from so much snippets and jumble in my head.”

“The whole situation inspired me. The reading, the choosing, the revising. Working on it was great. What surprised me in the end was what came out and how it looked. How much it became and that it looks beautiful and interesting.”

“I was inspired to explore tools and techniques to overwrite traditional thought patterns, to make them (more) invisible without completely erasing them.”

“I was surprised by what the other participants made of the material. Everything was new to me. I’d never done anything like that before.”
